The family of popular Nigerian singer Tuface Idibia has petitioned the Department of State Security over the singer’s disappearance.

This was disclosed by the family of the singer in a letter, which was addressed to the DSS by the family’s legal representative, Anuge and Co.

They claimed that the singer had been missing since the 10th of February, 2025, after he left his residence in his loungewear to go for his habitual walk but never returned home since then.

This comes a few days after Tuface’s mother had made a public plea, where she urged Nigerians to help tell Natasha to release her son from the spell she had put him under.

Recall that Tuface was recently captured in a video proposing to his newly found lover, an Edo Lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, amid his ongoing divorce process with Annie Macaulay.

However, the Idibia family has revealed that they are unaware of the singer’s whereabouts and have requested the help of the DSS to help find him.

A part of their petition read;

“It is our brief that Mr. Innocent left his residence in the early hours of 10th February 2025 in his loungewear suggestive that he was hoping on his habitual walk but never returned home since then. Despite the best efforts of his members of his family, his staff and management of his Record label to reach or locate him, including reaching out to his friends and acquaintances; they have been unable to establish any contact or ascertain his whereabouts.

However, on the day he was last seen, he left his residence unaccompanied by his protective guards, his personal assistant or any of his staff. This disturbing discovery and the fact that those who ought to hear from him have not heard from him for over 72 hours, he has left his entire family deeply concerned.

Adding to the family’s distress are calls from several of his close friends that have received messages from what appears to be his social media accounts soliciting financial assistance. These messages are alarming, as Mr. Innocent is financially independent and has never required assistance in such manner. This has led to his family to suspect that his identity may have been compromised, and that someone may have abducted him and his actively manipulating him to exploit his contacts for monetary gain.”
