The Tropicana mall and entertainment center Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has unveiled partners for the third edition of their Trade Fair (Trade Fair 3.0,) scheduled for October 30th to November 3rd, 2024, at the Tropicana Mall Grounds, Udo Udoma Avenue.
Endorsed by the Ministry of Trade and Investment, the event aligns with the state’s commercial objectives in stimulating business activity in a fun, vibrant setting.
According to a release endorsed by the Public Relations Officer of the center, Magdalene Mendie and made available to our Correspondent in Uyo, Some of the notable partners and vendors include Sundry Market, operators of the mall’s anchor tenant Market Square, Mae Edmonds, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Champion Breweries, and others.
It noted that the Bank of Industry will also be on hand at the fair, to provide advisory services and to help vendors explore opportunities for financing and business growth.
“This initiative, launched by the Tropicana Mall, aims to boost footfall and provide support to the brands within the mall, both tenants and patrons alike. The event’s primary goal is to activate product engagement and drive end-of-year sales, making it an ideal platform for vendors to connect with customers in a lively shopping environment.
Wooing visitors, the release mentioned that vendors have curated a wide variety of products to enhance to enhance the shopping experience for attendees.
Our Correspondent reports that the Tropicana Trade Fair which started in 2021, having had Trade Fair 2.0 and 1.0 in 2021 and 2022 respectively is organized by A and NE Consults and endorsed by the Tropicana Mall management.
It is an annual event that showcases indigenous businesses while promoting entrepreneurship, tourism, and cultural heritage in Akwa Ibom and the South-South region of Nigeria.
In its third year, the fair is becoming the most talk about and one of the most anticipated events of the year, after the Christmas Unplugged coming up in December.
