Governors of Akwa Ibom, Nasarawa and Osun states, Umo Eno, Abdullahi Sule and Ademola Adeleke, respectively, among other dignitaries are expected to grace the 2024 edition of national women conference by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO).
The two-day event, with the theme: “Soar Beyond Boundaries: Enrich communities,” is slated to hold from Tuesday, September 10 to Wednesday, September 11 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Governor Eno will be the special guest of honour for the opening ceremony while his Nasarawa State counterpart, Governor Sule will be the special guest of honour for the closing ceremony. Governor Adeleke will be the special guest of honour for the gala night.
Speakers lined up for the event include Oluwatoyin Adeyemi, Temitope Okunnu, Rotimi Coker and Opeyemi Akinyele, among others, who will be sharing experiences on diverse topics, ranging from how to prevent and manage communicable diseases, to transformative social welfare and boy-child development among others.
The event, put together by the convener, Lagos First Lady, Ibijoke Sanwoolu; Co-convener, Oluremi Hamsat and Chairperson, National Women Conference, Olufunke Adeyeye, promises to be fun as a lot of mouthwatering prizes are expected to be won at the gala night.
