The Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has appointed Dr Cyril Oshiomhole as his Commissioner of Health designate.
Arogidigba Global Journal reports that Dr Cyril is one of Adams Oshiomhole’s sons.
Oshiomhole was a two time governor of the state between 2008 and 2016.
He is also now an incumbent senator representing Edo North senatorial district.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Fred Itua, made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Benin City also announced the appointment of Musa Ikhilor as Secretary to the State Government.
He also appointed Samson Osagie as State Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice Designate.
Itua said the appointment of the nominees would be confirmed by the Edo State House of Assembly when their names are forwarded to it by Governor Okpebholo.
