Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has expressed dismay over the sudden death of the Adamawa State Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Muhammadu Gidado Bello.
Fintiri described Gidado’s death as a rude shock, according to the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, who released a statement on the matter on Friday.
The statement said Gidado Bello, a former Chief Press Secretary to an ex-deputy governor of the state, died on Thursday, April 25.
The governor said the deceased was a young Nigerian politician with great ideas about nation building and development.
Fintiri added that Gidado was a strong party man, an advocate of party supremacy, and a foremost coordinator who would be sorely missed by the PDP family.
Fintiri prayed Almighty Allah to admit the soul of the departed into Al-Jannah Firdaus, and grant his immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss.
