A few hours after sacking some commissioners, Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has approved the appointment of three of them as Special Advisers.
The reappointed former Commissioners now Special Advisers are said to be brought back into the administration to continue their services.
The former Commissioners’ now Special Advisers are Abubakar Abdulhameed Bununu – Special Adviser on Multilateral coordination and Regional Integration, Comrade Usman Danturaki – Special Adviser on Labour Matters and Contributory Pension Scheme and Professor Simon Madugu Yalams – Special Adviser on Technical and Vocational Education.
According to Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, “The appointments, which take immediate effect, are part of the Governor’s commitment to ensuring effective leadership, inclusivity, and the attainment of his administration’s developmental goals.
“Governor Bala Mohammed urges the appointees to bring their wealth of experience, dedication, and expertise in their respective fields to contribute significantly towards the attainment of the Governor’s vision for Bauchi State.”
The Governor also called on them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, transparency, and a renewed focus on improving the lives of the people of Bauchi State.
The Governor further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to good governance, accountability, and inclusive development for all citizens of Bauchi State.
