The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr Abdulahi Ganduje, has condemned the murder of the Plateau State Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Slyvanus Namang, and tasked the security agencies to go after the perpetrators and bring them to book.
Dr Ganduje, who spoke through the Deputy National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bukar Dalori, when the party paid a condolence visit to the party in Jos on Thursday, said the death was a rude shock to the party at all levels considering the contributions of the deceased to the party in Plateau State.
“We are here for condolence visits. We are representing our national chairman, His Excellency Abdullahi Ganduje, and the national working committee of our party. We are devastated by the news of his death; everybody is shocked and silent.
“We know him; he was not new to the party; he has been working for the party; it was a shock the way they killed him. On behalf of the National Chairman of our party and other stakeholders, accept our condolences,” he said.

Also speaking, the Deputy National Chairman, South-South, Hon Emma Eneukwu assured that the party will do all it can to unravel the cause of his death and collaborate with the security agencies to bring the perpetrators of the dastardly act to book.
“And the only thing our great party and the government in place can do is make sure that we assiduously look into the remote causes of his death and bring to book those behind the act. If he was assassinated, if it was a political assassination, whatever it was, the government must bring the culprits to justice.
“I want to assure you that the party will leave no stone unturned in making sure that we apprehend, or rather, we get the people that assassinated our brilliant person,” he said.
