National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has assured Nigerians of better days ahead.
Gaduje, in a message by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment, Oliver Okpala, to herald the New Year, hinged his promise on the visionary reforms President Bola Tinubu have started which he said have started yielding positive fruits which will be more visible in the year.
“Let me assure Nigerians that by next year’s Christmas, the economy would have fully stabilised and improved.
“This season should be for hope of a better life in the new year and the opportunity of a new era should renew our hearts with the values of faith, tenacity ,faith, love, peace, and unity, as exemplified by the founding fathers of our country such as Herbert Macauley, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Peter Enahoro, Ahmadu Bello amongst others.
“These people were incurable optimists in the future of the nation. It was not because there were no daunting challenges or obstacles when they reigned. but they had the can – do spirit and belief that all the hurdles were surmountable.
“This is the same spirit that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu possesses and that has kept him trudging on. It is the same energy that we must all welcome as we approach the new year so that we can all be partakers of the impending harvest in 2025.
“And for us to maximise the benefits of the new year, I implore every Nigerian to embrace a life of love, unity and positive energy,” Ganduje noted.
