The University of Helsinki Finland Scholarship covers tuition fees, meal discounts, and a reduction in public transport for selected candidates.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the University of Helsinki Finland Scholarship, you must:
- be an international student who is non-EU/EEA national.
- be admitted to a Master’s program at the University of Helsinki.
- meet the university’s admission criteria
- provide evidence of proficiency in English.
- demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential.

Selection Criteria
- The scholarships for new students will be awarded on the basis of academic overall assessment.
- Previous academic performance and possible letters of motivation, in addition to which the grounds presented by applicants in their grant applications will be taken into consideration.
- Also University’s and programmes strategic goals can be taken into account.
