FULL LIST: Lagos areas enjoying 20-hour daily power supply — NERC

The federal government through the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) recently approved an upward review of electricity tariffs for consumers under the Band A classification who represent approximately 15% of the total 12 million electricity consumers in the country.

Tribune Online reports on Wednesday that the NERC approved henceforth payment of N225 for kilowatt per hour (KW/h) by Band A consumers, from the current N66.

Meanwhile, in another report, Tribune Online explained the electricity service bands for different consumers and their estimated hours of daily power supply.

However, in a document sighted by our correspondent, the NERC outlined places in Lagos State, under the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) and different Business Units (BU) enjoying 20 hours of daily electricity supply.
