This is a very good development, Hadi Sirika moved all the Agencies of Aviation ‘s headquarters to Abuja without any planning, forcing the agencies to leave their offices abandoned in Lagos to rent offices in Abuja . They pay huge rents in Abuja and still maintain the offices in Lagos. The Honourable Minister has made the best economical and efficient decision and I hope other Agencies will follow. It’s only when you you don’t work in the Agencies, you will not understand . . Since the forced movement to Abuja , the money spent so far on rent could have been used to improve the facilities and equipments to serve the country better. Moving the head quarters of almost all government parastatals does not make Abuja bigger or better. In the whole world the hub of aviation in Nigeria is Lagos . . Returning them to Lagos saves money.Period!
