Ex-SGF Boss Mustapha denies looting $6.3m from CBN vault

Former Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha, has denied a report alleging his involvement within the unlawful withdrawal of $6.3 million from the Central Financial institution of Nigeria, CBN, throughout the administration of ex-President Muhammadu Buhari.

In line with studies, a particular investigator appointed by President Bola Tinubu uncovered the alleged theft, which supposedly occurred on February 8, 2023 — weeks earlier than the presidential election.

The report additionally alleged that Mustapha, alongside the embattled former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele, ordered the elimination of the money below the guise of funding international election observer missions.
