Estu Nupe and Chairman Traditional Rulers and Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Yahyah Abubakar, and Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris have appealed to all Nigerians to be united for the progress and peace of Nigeria.
They stated this during the agriculture show held at Birnin Kebbi as part of activities of the maiden Gwandu’ Emirate Horsing Race and Cultural festival.
Estu Nupe,the Chairman Niger State Council of Chiefs, who was the chairman
of the occasion, described Kebbi State as a agriculture hub of Nigeria soon, said the efforts of Kebbi State Governor,Dr.Nasir Idris in investing on agriculture would transformed the state to food basket of the Nigeria soon.
He said: ” we are here to this morning to witness this important agriculture show which is part of Gwandu Emirate Horsing Race and Cultural festival which is being supported by the Governor.
“It is our prayers that Kebbi,Niger and entire Nigeria will continue to witness peace so that our people could continue to progress. I pray too that Alrighty God will continue to protect the Governor and give him wisdoms to be directing the affairs of the state for the betterment of Nigeria “.

Estu,who is also Chairman Coordinating Committee of Traditional Rulers in Nigeria,commended State Governor for his initiative to showcase the culture of the people as well lauded Emir Gwandu and entire Gwandu’ Emirate for the hosting the first, maiden edition of the cultural festival.
In his remark,Kebbi Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris explained that his administration had promised the people of the state that they would continue to promote the culture of all the four Emirates in the state,stressed that , through that, people will be united.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Alhaji Usman Ladan Dakingari disclosed that the present administration is working hard to establish dry port in the state and it will creates about three million jobs after completed.
The Ceremony was also attended by Emir Zuru, Major -General Muhammad Sani Sami Gomo II,Emir Kaigara,Niger state,Alhaji Ahmed Attairu II,,Oba Adekunle Adeafbo,of Otun-Ekiti in Ekiti state,among others.
