Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker, has said he doesn’t want Arsenal to win the Premier League title, due to his past at Tottenham Hotspur.
Walker spent eight years at the Gunners’ North London rivals Spurs.
He has now said that if City do not win the title, he would rather see Liverpool take the title over Mikel Arteta’s due to his lingering allegiance to Spurs.
Walker said on the FIVE podcast: “It’s so hard. I don’t want Arsenal [to win] because of Tottenham.”
When asked by Ferdinand if he still had affection for Spurs, Walker replied: “Yeah, I just don’t want Arsenal.”
Liverpool are currently top with 63 points, one more than City and two clear of Arsenal.
