The EFCC on Monday expressed dissatisfaction with a judgment of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Excessive Courtroom awarding N100 million damages towards it in favour of a former governor of the Central Financial institution of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele.
Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) Spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, who mentioned this in an announcement in Abuja, disclosed that the fee would attraction the judgment instantly.
Oyewale mentioned that Justice O.A Adeniyi had on Monday, fined the EFCC after he dominated that its detention of Emefiele in the middle of his investigation was a violation of his proper to liberty.

Recall that Adeniyi had earlier awarded N100 million in damages to the suspended Emefiele towards the Federal Authorities and EFCC for violations of his rights.
