Kaduna State and its environs have reportedly observed a peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration marking the end of Ramadan fasting.
In Kaduna South, Chikun, Kaduna North, and Kajuru, Muslims observed peaceful Eid-el-Fitr prayers at exactly 8am just as hundreds of Muslims dressed in their best outfit thronged the Eid prayer ground.
In Kaduna South, Mustapha Mohammed who led the prayers, prayed for a peaceful Kaduna State and wisdom to lead the state to achieve its desired goals.
According to him, “Kaduna will continue to witness a peaceful atmosphere.” He also prayed to Almighty all to continue to expose bandits, and make them suffer for their actions.
Arogidigba Global Journal Correspondent observed that immediately after the Eid-el-Fitr prayers, there were exchanges of pleasantries among the Muslim brothers.
Food and drinks were also exchanged and enjoyed among families to celebrate the joyful moment across the state.
A resident Jubril Ademu who expressed happiness, told Arogidigba Global Journal in Kakuri, that it’s a joyful moment of his life, adding that when he began fasting 30 days ago, he wasn’t sure of reaching the climax adding that since he is alive to witness the Eid-el-Fitr, he was sure that God would answer all his prayers.
He prayed for peace, blessings, and security of lives and property in Kaduna State.
” I am sure that Kaduna will no longer witness insecurity in the state. We will enjoy the continuous presence of God in the state henceforth. God will continue to guard, guide, and show mercy on the residents of the state.’ he further said.
