Rivers United head coach, Stanley Eguma has revealed the club’s plan for their remaining games in the season.
Rivers United have five outstanding games.
The games were postponed due to club’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
“We will take the matches one after the other, every match is very important,” Eguma stated.
“We know that our position is down the log, so we have to do something positive to get up there.
” This is just what we are doing, I just hope the boys don’t get distracted but remain focused until we get up there.
“All we want to do is get up there, it is very possible and we can’t accept a different story.
” The players deserve some rest because they are human beings.
“We need to do squad rotation and bring in fresh legs to provide pace and strength.”
Rivers United are currently 13th in the table with 40 points.
The former NPFL champions will battle with Bayelsa United in a matchday 32 fixture at the Samson Siasia Stadium on Monday (today).
