A former National Assembly candidate, Oarhe Dickson, has urged electorates in Edo State to vote wisely in the governorship election slated for tomorrow.
The call, according to him, is aimed at ensuring a prosperous and robust democracy with its numerous positive dividends.
In a statement made available to Arogidigba Global Journal on Thursday, he emphasized the need for all political parties, candidates of the various parties, supporters, and pressure groups, including the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to embrace justice, equity, transparency, fairness, truth, and adherence to the rule of law.
He also appealed to the people of the state to come out to vote, viewing Saturday’s election as a contest of one big united family.
“In light of this, we are appealing to Edolites to make the right decision now through their vote. Given the critical moment and the realities we face, we need someone who can further attract investors. We need someone who can create wealth and boost the economy of the state for the overall benefits and well-being of all Edolites,” Oarhe asserted.
The Edo State governorship election, as observed by Arogidigba Global Journal, is scheduled to hold on Saturday across all polling units in the state.
