Former Chief of Staff (COS) in Lagos State, Otunba Samuel Olukunle Ojo, has urged Nigerians not to blame President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the present hardship ravaging the country. He stressed that there is hope at the end of the tunnel.
Ojo, who served as COS to former Governor Akinwumi Ambode, made this admonition while speaking with newsmen on the state of the nation. He urged all Nigerians to be hopeful and patient with the president, especially now that he is embarking on the re-engineering and re-alignment of what seems to have been lacking in the entire nooks and crannies of the country.
The former COS, fondly called Baba Ojo by admirers and political associates, equally appealed for understanding on the part of the citizens, emphasizing that President Tinubu is focused with the political will to bring about tremendous improvement in the lives of Nigerians.
He assured that with President Tinubu at the helm of affairs in the country, Nigerians should rest assured that the lost glory of the country would be restored soon and speedily.

“Let me use this opportunity to appeal to our people to accept the present situation of the country. I can assure you that he is a focused, pragmatic, and highly principled leader with the political will to change the fortunes of the country for the better. I am not only saying it for the sake of saying it, but I can authoritatively tell you that this is a man who ensures that any of his pronouncements doesn’t go unfulfilled.
“I have not only tested but have it on good authority that this man has what it takes to replicate unbiased good governance in Nigeria.
“He has done it before in Lagos; he will definitely restore the lost glory of the country,” Ojo stated.
“There is light at the end of the tunnel; we shall get to Eldorado with the president as he has the political will and commitment to good governance,” he added.
