Lagos State has discovered 86 rooms under the Dolphin Estate bridge where tenants pay N250,000 annually.
The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on Wednesday took to his X account, sharing videos from the apartments built under the bridge, saying it was partitioned into 10×10 and 12×10 sizes.
Tenants are said to be paying N250,000 per annum for the makeshift apartments under the bridge.
In the viral video, the enforcement team of the Lagos State’s Ministry of Environment and Water Resources were seen removing all structures, including a container utilized for various illegal activities.
