The Special Adviser on Political Matters in Niger State, Alhaji Mohammed Nma Kolo, has solicited the support and cooperation of all political stakeholders in the state to enable the incumbent Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
In a press statement issued on Monday in Minna, Alhaji Nma Kolo appealed to the youth to disregard anyone attempting to lure them into street protests.
He emphasized that Governor Bago’s administration is committed to bringing about a new Niger and deserves the cooperation of all Nigerlites to realize the New Niger Agenda, free from unnecessary distractions.
Alhaji Nma Kolo highlighted that while the government is bringing about massive infrastructural development in the state, accompanied by the needed peace, security, and unity, it requires the contributions of all to succeed.
He urged all stakeholders not to encourage the ongoing planned protests by some unknown individuals, noting that the government has taken everyone into confidence, regardless of their ethnic, political, and religious affiliations.

He assured that the government will continue to rise above challenges, stressing that no society is without its peculiar issues.
However, with a determined leader like Governor Bago, the challenges have been mitigated, bringing hope to the people of the state.
Nma Kolo stated that all political stakeholders in the state have unhindered access to the government for constructive suggestions and should leverage this opportunity for positive engagement.
According to him, “We must join hands together to ensure that we support the ongoing massive development in the state and disregard anyone who wants to lure us into acts that are anti-development.”
He lauded the conduct of key political players across all political parties in the state for their maturity, adherence to rules of engagement, and for conducting themselves peacefully.
Nma Kolo emphasized that the peaceful nature of all stakeholders in the state should not be taken for granted by any form of protest but should instead channel their energies towards productive ventures for the growth and development of the state.
