On his part, Musk said in a post on X that he was “honoured” to meet Li Qiang.
“We have known each other for many years, since early Shanghai days,” Musk said.
Musk’s meeting with Li Qiang comes as Chinese carmakers promote their latest electric vehicles at the Beijing Motor Show from April 25 to May 5.
