The delegates to vote in for the forthcoming governorship primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State are to emerge via consensus.
The delegates’ election holding today for the Ondo PDP will see three each emerge from the 203 wards in the state.
Affirming this, the South-West PDP chairman, Mr Kamorudeen Ajisafe, described the adoption of consensus for emergence of the ward delegates as historical.
According to Ajisafe, the adoption of the option was epochal and is make today’s process rancour free.
The emergence of ward delegates would be followers by the election of local government delegates, who are to serve as national delegates.
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP has approved the nomination of a five-member committee led by Senator Abba Moro for the exercise.
