Antonio Conte has issued an update on Victor Osimhen, stating that ‘no changes’ have occurred regarding the forward’s future.
Osimhen is poised to depart Napoli this summer, with Conte confirming a ‘pact’ between the player and the club to arrange a move away from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The Nigeria international’s contract has a €130 million (£109 million) release clause, which Premier League teams have been unwilling to meet. Arsenal and Chelsea have been extensively connected with the 25-year-old, but it is Paris Saint-Germain who have stepped up their interest.

PSG allegedly had a £170 million deal for Osimhen and Napoli teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia rejected this week, as the Serie A club did not want to lose both players in the same transfer window.
“I spoke to Victor and there are no changes on his situation. He’s a top player,” Conte said in comments published by Fabrizio Romano.
“He’s Napoli player today so he needs to work hard, even if we’ve an agreement [for his potential exit] and still we don’t know the outcome of this story.”
