Confirmed lineup Madrid vs Dortmund UCL final

Spanish giant, Real Madrid is ready to slug it out with German team, Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League final tonight (8 pm Nigerian time.)

The much-anticipated match will be played at the Wembley Stadium.

Real Madrid has won the UEFA Champions League a record 14 times, with their last victory in the 2021-2022 season.

Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, secured their only Champions League title in 1997.

Slavko Vinčić from Slovenia is the referee for the UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

Vinčić, an experienced match official, has a notable career that includes officiating at Euro 2020, the 2022 World Cup, and the 2022 Europa League final.

Edin Terzic, Dortmund’s head coach earlier today noted that the team may have a surprise in the bag for serial and all-time highest winner tonight.

PUNCH Online reports that Thibaut Courtois starts in goal debuting in the tournament after being ruled out since last year due to injury.
