Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday signed a budget estimate of N3.366 trillion Appropriation Bill for 2025 into law.
Governor Sanwo-Olu gave his assent to the Appropriation Bill, tagged the “Budget of Sustainability,” at the State House, Alausa, Ikeja. The event was witnessed by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadir Obafemi Hamzat; the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, represented by the House Committee Chairman on Economic, Budget, and Planning, Hon. Sa’ad Olumoh; members of the State Executive Council (SEC), and other dignitaries.

The State House of Assembly had passed the Appropriation Bill on January 6, 2025, following its presentation by Governor Sanwo-Olu on November 21, 2024, before the 40-member parliament.
The “Budget of Sustainability” is aimed at addressing infrastructure, economic diversification, and other critical sectors in the state.
