Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Catastrophe Administration and Social Improvement, Hajia Sadiya Umar-Farouq has simply arrived on the headquarters of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) to honour the invitation by the anti-graft company to supply clarifications in respect of some points that the Fee is investigating.
The previous Minister had earlier indicated her readiness to honour the Fee’s invitation.
“I stay proud to have served my nation as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with each sense of duty and can defend my actions, stewardship and programmes throughout my tenure each time I’m referred to as upon to take action,” she was quoted to have mentioned.
The Monday go to to the EFCC workplace, situated in Jabi district of Abuja, was at her behest.
Recall that the previous Minister was invited by the anti-graft Company over an ongoing probe into the N37,170,855,753.44 allegedly laundered throughout her tenure in workplace, by means of a contractor, James Okwete.
The previous Minister served underneath former President Muhammadu Buhari from August 2019 to Might 2023, had denied data of the mentioned Contractor.
