Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has arrived on the workplace of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee, EFCC.
The minister served underneath the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
She is being probed over the sum of N37,170,855,753.44 allegedly laundered underneath her watch by a contractor, James Okwete.
She wrote on social media on Monday morning, “I’ve, at my behest, arrived on the headquarters of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) to honour the invitation by the anti-graft company to supply clarifications in respect of some points that the fee is investigating.”
