The organisers of the annual Beauty West Africa exhibition are gearing up for the 2024 edition scheduled for November 26-28 in Lagos.
As they prepare for its seventh edition, the continent’s largest beauty and cosmetics trade event aims to broaden its reach and enhance its offerings.
This year’s exhibition will host over 300 exhibitors and welcome approximately 5,500 beauty and hair professionals from around the globe.
Attendees can expect a diverse showcase, with dedicated pavilions for exhibitors from China, Turkey, Pakistan, and Korea, alongside strong delegations from Egypt, Europe, the United Arab Emirates, and the USA. Notably, the exhibition will shine a spotlight on local entrepreneurs, championing Nigeria’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The three-day event promises a vibrant program of seminars, demonstrations, and tutorials, providing exhibitors with the platform to unveil new products and highlight emerging beauty trends and techniques to a broad audience. A highlight of the exhibition will be the inaugural ‘Battle of the Barbers Challenge’ on the final day of the conference, adding an exciting competitive element to the event.
Senior Group Exhibition Manager, Ken Baber, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming show, noting its annual growth in popularity among both exhibitors and visitors. “We are looking forward to welcoming a substantial number of participants to this year’s Beauty West Africa.
The diverse array of SMEs, importers, distributors, retailers, and beauty and hair professionals all contribute to the success and acclaim of Africa’s leading beauty, cosmetics, and hair trade event.”
Baber emphasised the significance of the event’s expansion into a fourth hall at the Landmark Exhibition Centre, driven by the increasing demand. “With so many new products and businesses on display, we know our visitors from Nigeria and across West Africa will truly appreciate the opportunities to discover new trade partners and strengthen existing business relationships with our many repeat exhibitors.”
This year’s event is proudly supported by the Federation of West Africa Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI), which will also participate in the conference. “By supporting Beauty West Africa 2024, FEWACCI aims to promote the beauty and cosmetics industry as a vital sector in the region’s growing economy. The event aligns with our mission to enhance trade relations within ECOWAS and globally, enabling exhibitors and participants to access lucrative markets,” stated a FEWACCI representative.
To further assist both new and returning exhibitors, BtoB Events offers a range of support packages. “We are committed to supporting you every step of the way—from visas and hotels to SIM cards and Wi-Fi, as well as stand building and design,” Mr. Baber assured. “Our goal is to facilitate connections with the region’s largest importers, retailers, and distributors who are eager to find new suppliers.”
