Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, has initiated a new era focused on strengthening institutions across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies for more effective service delivery.
This advancement was marked by the official launch of four operational vehicles under the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACReSAL) Project, a World Bank-assisted initiative addressing environmental sustainability, water resources management, and agriculture, among other critical areas.
The four vehicles were procured to support the activities of the Ministries of Housing and Environment, Water Resources, Agriculture, and the Project Implementation Unit of the ACReSAL Project.
Speaking at the brief ceremony held on the premises of the Governor’s Office, Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir expressed his gratitude to the Federal Government and the World Bank for their ongoing support.

He emphasized his administration’s commitment to utilizing such interventions to deliver the benefits of democracy to the people of Bauchi.
The Governor also urged the relevant Ministries to use the vehicles effectively to maximize their impact for the state’s development in all areas.
The Commissioner of Housing and Environment, Rt. Hon. Danlami Ahmed Kawule, thanked Governor Bala Mohammed for his continuous support of the ACReSAL Project and other initiatives, pledging to make the best use of the provided vehicles.
The Project Coordinator for ACReSAL, Dr. Kabir Ibrahim, stated that the vehicles would significantly facilitate and advance the implementation of the ACReSAL Project within the state.
