Again, gunmen have killed three persons in Imo State in separate attacks on Tuesday.
Two unidentified men were shot in the head by trigger-happy hoodlums in front of Urudi Police Station, Nwaoriubi, in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state.
In a separate attack, a businessman was robbed and later shot dead outside his shop at Ama Wire, a few metres from where a government sewage disposal vehicle was also razed on Tuesday.
Reports said the gunmen also abducted a motorist and his vehicle was set ablaze at Mbomiri.
The police spokesman in the state, Henry Okoye, reacting to the incident, said the Imo State Commissioner of Police has launched a manhunt for the criminals involved in the incidents and vowed to make them pay for their actions according to the law when apprehended.
