President Bola Tinubu has approved appointments of All Progressives Congress (APC) officials to leadership positions in federal institutions, including the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the National Agricultural Seed Council.
The appointments, as announced by Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga, aim to strengthen governance and service delivery in critical sectors.
Felix Morka, APC’s National Publicity Secretary, was named Board Chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), while Fatuhu Buhari from Katsina State was appointed Director-General of the National Agricultural Seed Council.
Also appointed are APC state chairmen and officials to lead agencies across sectors. They include Muhammad Massan (Bauchi APC Chairman): Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, Ilorin, Abdullahi Abbas (Kano APC Chairman), Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service, Macdonald Ebere (Imo APC Chairman): Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Lagos, Emma Eneukwu (APC Deputy Chairman, South): National Automotive Development Council.
Other appointees include Aminu Sani Gumel (Jigawa APC Chairman) for the Federal College of Produce Inspection and Idris Shuaibu (Adamawa APC Chairman) for the Federal College of Animal Health.
The list include Benjamin Omale (Benue APC Chairman) for the National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu, and Rufus Bature (Plateau APC Chairman) for the Nigerian Coal Corporation.
