A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, Sulaiman Usman Zumunchi, has commended the commissioning of a 50-bed capacity women and children’s hospital in Bungudu town, constructed by Federal House of Representatives member Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu Bungudu.
Speaking to newsmen on Sunday in Gusau, Zumunchi highlighted that the benefits of this ultramodern hospital, built by the federal lawmaker, will extend not only to his constituency but also to the entire state.
He emphasized that honor is due to those who deserve it, especially for executing essential projects like the construction of a hospital with modern facilities in Bungudu Town, a local government area in the state.

“The recently commissioned hospital, named ‘Zubairu Bawa Community Hospital Bungudu,’ is fully equipped with a laboratory, scanning machine, male and female wards, doctors’ changing room, a mini theatre, a labor room, and a fully solar-powered generator—this is truly commendable,” said Zumunchi.
Zumunchi described Hon. Abdulmalik Bungudu as a servant of his constituents, always striving to bring smiles to their faces, particularly those in his constituency.
A former Special Adviser in the previous administration, Zumunchi commended Zannan Bungudu for this significant initiative and his thoughtful approach to addressing health challenges.
“What Zannah has done for his constituents will undoubtedly complement the efforts of both the state and federal governments in providing healthcare to the people,” he added.
Zumunchi mentioned that he first visited the hospital during its construction and again during the launch of the medical outreach by the Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN).
“As a pharmaceutical businessman, in 2009 I personally donated hospital equipment and consumables to King Fahad Hospital in Gusau,” he noted.
Zumunchi further expressed his admiration for the hospital’s automation, noting that all correspondence is computerized, making records secure.
