Nigeria Premier Football League side, Akwa United are set to beef up the team with four new attackers, Arogidigba Global Journal reports.
The Promise Keepers caretaker coach, Umar Abdullahi disclosed this in a chat with newsmen in Eket.
Abdullahi said the club aims to bring in quality players to improve the attacking department.
“When you watch Akwa United games you would see that we play well and couldn’t convert our chances,” he stated.
“We are going into the transfer market to bring in four quality forwards that will help the team improve that area.”
Akwa United have recorded four wins, six draws and seven defeats in 17 games this season.
The former NPFL champions are 16th on the table with 18 points.
