Shooting Stars chairman Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro has showered praises on the club’s players and officials over the recent good run of the team.
Akoro commended the players for their impressive performance against Kano Pillars.
He however charged the players not to let down their guards, but to strive harder to get positive results from the remaining matches.
“The last time I addressed you before we played against Kwara United, I told you that we needed to go out and get the results on the road,” he stated in his address to the players.
“I told you then that you can do it and I’m so happy that you have done it and I can tell you that you are making the government and the good people of Oyo State, as well as our entire fans, happy.
“You must not relent yet. It is getting tougher at this crucial stage. I believe you can still do it and I hope that you will do it.”
Shooting Stars have recorded 46 points from 29 games in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.
The Oluyole Warriors currently occupy sixth position in the table, four points behind leaders Rangers, who are on 51 points.
Shooting Stars will lock horns with Lobi Stars in their next league game.
