Airtel Africa has introduced the retirement of CEO Olusegun Ogunsanya with impact from 01 July and stated he shall be succeeded by Sunil Taldar.
Taldar joined Airtel Africa in October 2023 as director for transformation and can start the transition to the CEO function, working alongside Ogunsanya.
In line with a press release by the corporate, Taldar shall be appointed to the Board as an government director and assume the function of CEO on 1 July 2024, at which period Segun will retire from the Board and the corporate.
