Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali was back in training on Tuesday night after making a remarkable recovery from injury, Arogidigba Global Journal reports.
Nwabali sustained a mild ligament injury in Super Eagles’ 2-0 victory against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon last Saturday.
The Chippa United goalie trained separately on Monday as the Super Eagles started preparations for their quarter-final clash with Angola.
The shot stopper however trained with the goalkeeper trainer at the Police College, Cocody, Abidjan on Tuesday to give credence that he is good to go against the Palancas Negras.
He was no longer limping as he was taken through the routine goalkeeping drills.
Nwabali is expected to undergo another test on Wednesday to ascertain his fitness level.
