Guinea-Bissau head coach, Baciro Cande says his side will put up a good showing against Nigeria, Arogidigba Global Journal reports.
The Djurtus have a slim chance of progressing to the group stage in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, after losing their opening two games of the competition.
Cande’s side occupy bottom spot in Group A with zero point.
Guinea-Bissau are also yet to win a game in the history of the AFCON.
The gaffer said his players are highly motivated for the game and will go all out for a win.
“We are excited to play a good match tomorrow,” he told reporters in Abidjan.
“We have one match to close the first phase of the competition and we will do everything to have a good game tomorrow.
“It will be difficult but we will do everything possible tomorrow. We want to have our first AFCON win tomorrow.”
The encounter, slated for the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, will start at 6:00 pm Nigerian time.
