The Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Police has arrested two other applicants allegedly parading fake certificates for recruitment screening.
This arrest was made on Monday, January 22, after a total of 16,736 applicants had been screened, according to a press release obtained by Arogidigba Global Journal on Tuesday
The two brought to six the number of fake result suspects that the command has apprehended so far.
The command had announced the arrest of four suspects last Friday, January 19, after screening 9,687 applicants.
Adamawa State, with a total of 29, 848 applicants, expects to have concluded the physical and credential screening exercise by the 29th of January.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, who gave the update in his press release, affirmed that the six applicants apprehended during the screening exercise were found with suspected forged documents and are currently under investigation.
