Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has taken to social media to publicly mourn his late colleague, Junior Pope Odonwodo, for the first time since his passing.

It will be recalled that Junior Pope tragically died in a boat accident in Anam River, Anambra State, two weeks ago, specifically on April 10, 2024, while returning from a movie location.

Since his death, some netizens, including actress Angela Okorie, criticized Zubby Michael for not posting about the tragedy on his Instagram page.

Infuriated by his silence, Angela Okorie called him an evil person for not publicly mourning Junior Pope.

Amid the backlash, Zubby shared a cryptic post, stating that mourning a dead friend or colleague is not about posting on social media.

Well, the movie star has finally put up his first post about the deceased actor, who died at the young age of 39.
