The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Community Engagement for the South West, Hon. Moremi Ojudu, has assured that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver the dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of people at the grassroots.
Ojudu, who made this statement during her visit to Igunsi community in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State, said priority would be given to developmental projects across various communities in the country.
The SSA explained that the purpose of her visit was to connect with the grassroots, understand the needs of the people, engage with them, and assess community projects to prioritize for development.
According to her, her office serves as a link between the Federal Government and local governments, especially the people at the grassroots.
She said that by interacting with people at the grassroots, the government will be able to stay on track and address the immediate needs of every community.
She also promised to facilitate developmental projects in the area while distributing food items to the community and empowering women and youths of Ondo West Constituency II, with a pledge that more positive developments will come from the President.

She commended the lawmaker representing the state constituency, Hon. Biola Oladapo, for his significant and immeasurable contributions to the development of the area. She described him as an exceptional leader whose impact on the community and humanity is profound, noting that the lawmaker has made a significant mark in a short period.
In response, the House of Assembly member, Hon. Oladapo, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Land, Housing, Physical Planning, and Urban Development, reassured the people that he would fulfill all campaign promises to his constituents.
He took the occasion to thank the constituents for their confidence in him, as expressed through their votes in the last election, and promised not to let them down.
He stated: “By the grace of God Almighty, I will ensure I fulfill my electoral campaign promises to the people of this constituency. I have already fulfilled some, and those who have not yet seen their promises fulfilled should not worry because I will keep my word.”
The traditional ruler of Igunsi community, Oba Aderehinwo Adebayo, expressed gratitude to Senior Special Assistant Ojudu for engaging with the community and urged her to help bring government services closer to the people.
The monarch requested assistance in areas such as market development, road construction, provision of potable water, and other aspects that could contribute to the area’s development.
