President Bola Tinubu is set to depart for the People’s Republic of China, where he is scheduled to meet with President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale disclosed this to correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday.
He stated that President Tinubu will engage in a series of meetings with his Chinese counterpart and the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of 10 major corporations for the economic benefit of Nigeria.

Ngelale also mentioned that President Tinubu will participate in bilateral agreements and sign Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to enhance cooperation in various sectors.
According to him, discussions will also cover issues of national, regional, and international security.
He added that the completion of the Abuja-to-Ibadan segment of the Lagos-Kaduna standard gauge railway will be another area of focus during the visit.
