Safety operatives have rescued 21 victims kidnapped alongside the Ajaokuta-Itobe Street in Kogi State.
The victims have been rescued by a crew of safety operatives, comprising personnel of the Nigerian Police Power, Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps and native vigilantes.
The victims, together with travellers, college students and workers of Complete Excessive Faculty, Ajaokuta, have been kidnapped on Thursday, December 28, 2023.
Onogwu Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Yahaya Bello, who confirmed the event in an announcement on Saturday, December 30, mentioned that the victims have been taken to an unknown vacation spot inside the dense forest across the Ajaokuta Native Authorities Space of the state.
