The Osun State government has announced that it will not tolerate the formation of cabals among public school teachers.
Teachers who have served for over five years in their current positions will be transferred to other schools within the state.
The decision was made after it was discovered that some teachers who had overstayed in their current schools were forming cabals that undermined administrative procedures, thereby affecting the progress of schools in the state.
In a circular signed by the Chairman of the Osun State Teaching Service Commission, Mr. Tope Mustapha, and addressed to all teachers in the state, the government informed the affected teachers that their transfers would take place soon.
