Former Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ACP Chike Oti, has been diagnosed with renal failure and he is seeking financial assistance to survive.
As it is, he needs over N25 million for a kidney transplant to regain his health.
He has, therefore, sent a save-a-soul message to the Nigeria Police Force, corporate organisations, friends and good Nigerians to come to his rescue.
Oti, former Lagos State Police Provost and immediate past Divisional Police Officer of Satellite Police Division, Lagos, needs urgent assistance, financial support and prayers so that he will not die.
According to Oti, who is on admission in Lagoon Hospital, Bourdillon Street, Ikoyi, Lagos, he is undergoing haemodialysis twice a week, and will continue until he is able to raise the sum of N25,000,000.00 (25 million naira) for kidney transplant.
On his hospital bed, ACP Oti, who was recently posted to the Railway Police Command, Ebutte Meta, Lagos, as AC’DFA, said, “I wish to inform the good people of Nigeria that I was recently diagnosed with fifth-stage renal failure, also known as end-stage renal disease (kidney failure), occasioned by unmitigated high blood pressure, at Lagoon Hospital, Bourdillon Street, Ikoyi, Lagos. It was recommended that my only chance to stay alive is that I must do a kidney transplant. I have spent about N3.5 million for the one week I spent at the aforementioned hospital.
“The cost of keeping alive is way beyond my means right now. I, therefore, seek your help, dear brothers and sisters, to surmount this terrible illness. Please, don’t let me die. I have a wife and children.
“This death will be avoided if only you people come to my aid. Please, you can support me with any amount through account number, United Bank for Africa (UBA): 2016631487, Chile Oti; with GSM number 07065246927. I will appreciate it if you will be touched by God to assist me.”
