Senator Joshua Dariye, former Governor of Plateau State, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan and Hon. Saad Ibrahim Bello to key positions.
Chief Gufwan was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for People with Disabilities (NCPWD), while Hon. Bello was appointed as a Federal Commissioner representing Plateau at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
Senator Dariye described the appointments as “square pegs in square holes,” citing the duo’s impressive track records and contributions to humanity. He praised Chief Gufwan’s philanthropic efforts, particularly in supporting widows, orphans, and persons living with disabilities.
Dariye also lauded Hon. Bello’s achievements in various offices, including his roles in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Ministry of Water Resources and Energy, and National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
The Senator commended President Tinubu for the appointments and urged the appointees to justify the trust placed in them with exceptional performance.
