He maintained that: “It is a known fact that the entire Universe is still nursing the negative effect of COVID-19 which drastically affected projections of UN-SDGs Global Agenda. At the moment the whole world is facing Socio-Economic Development challenges and Nigeria is not exempted.
“On this note, everyone working within, or around or in the Development Space in Nigeria must be ready to serve our dear Nation with all sense of meritocracy, pragmatism and honesty.

On her part, Mrs Sarah Pane who reiterated the Organization’s resolve towards community advancement and humanitarian empowerment showered encomium on CSCHEI’s leadership for various people-oriented projects implemented so far.
She said: “The Civil Society Organisation On Community Advancement And Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative took off in the last quarter of last year with a deep hunger; the hunger to make an impact on the lives of Nigerians and communities. It hoped to achieve this both directly and by supporting the hundreds of NGOs with which it shared a common vision to do the same.
“Ambitiously it declared at the beginning of this year that it was going to, among others, construct public toilets and solar-powered boreholes in all the 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria. A special training programme was also envisaged. But at the end it had to bow to the adage that says ‘if wishes were horses, then beggars may ride’.
“At the end, CSCHEI had to calm down and give a little more time. The interlude has led to the review that has given birth to today’s programme. May I at this point specially congratulate and welcome members-in-waiting of the Council and the three Committees to be inaugurated shortly? I believe that you are all prepared for the added responsibility ahead, agreeing with the adage that says ‘uneasy lies the head that wears the crown’.”
