International students interested in pursuing Masters and PhD graduate degrees in the United States are invited to apply for the 2024 Oklahoma State University Scholarship.
The Oklahoma State University Scholarship comes with full benefits and a stipend of $23,870 per year, which will be supplemented with a 3-month summer salary of $4,000-$6,000.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the 2024 Oklahoma State University Scholarship, you must:
- Have an undergraduate degree in biology, ecology. wildlife, statistics, or related field
- Have a MS in biology, ecology, wildlife, statistics, or a related field (for PhD Applicants)
- Show a record of publishing peer-reviewed scientific papers Strong quantitative background, including data wrangling and visualization in R, statistics (especially hierarchical models and Bayesian analysis), and GIS & remote sensing
- Have some experience with camera trapping
- Experience mentoring undergraduate researchers or coordinating volunteers
- Excellent writing and communication skills
Benefits
- The Oklahoma State University Scholarship will be offered to selected candidates as teaching assistantships
- The teaching assistantship comes with full benefits and a 9-month stipend of $20,542 (MS) or $23,870 (PhD), which will be supplemented with a 3-month summer salary of $4,000-$6,000.
