Mallam Olawale Rasheed, spokesperson to the Osun State Governor, has been inducted as a Fellow of The Fourth-Estate Professional Society of Nigeria.
The induction ceremony took place on Thursday at Nulge House, Olorunda Local Government, Osogbo, Osun State.
According to Dr. Adedapo Owolabi, Chairman of the Fourth-Estate Professional Society, Osun State Council, “The induction recognizes Mallam Olawale Rasheed’s contributions to the media profession in Osun State and his extensive experience in journalism.”
At the induction ceremony, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, represented by a Media Aide to the Governor, Sola Isola, expressed gratitude to FPS Osun and pledged support for the council’s growth.

He stated, “I am delighted to be here today and thank you for this honor. I pledge my full support to the growth of this council. I also encourage us to prioritize professionalism, training, and mentoring to ensure we build a lasting legacy.”
Earlier, Dr. Babatunde Salami, National President of the Fourth-Estate Professional Society, highlighted that Osun State has presented the highest number of members for induction in FPS Nigeria’s history, with seventy-nine members at its fifth induction.
He also outlined the benefits of society membership, including access to international workshops and seminars, as well as a year of free life insurance for every financial member, affiliated with the Society of Practising Journalists in the United States.
