A member representing Gasol/Bali Federal constituency, Hon. Ja’afaru, has been hailed for executing people-oriented projects in his constituency.
A non-governmental organization named Democracy Watch said the lawmaker has made significant impacts in the lives of rural dwellers and ordinary people in his constituency, with a series of projects spanning roads, water, electricity, and community empowerment.
In a press statement made available to our correspondent on Saturday by its chairman, Sadiq Abubakar, “Road infrastructure has received a major boost, with the completion of key roads in Tella and the Dobeli-Wuryo road, easing travel for locals.
“Water projects have also been given a shot in the arm, with the provision of 15,000-liter tanks to the College of Agriculture in Jalingo, Bali police station, and Tella.
In partnership with the Qatar government and the Ciroma Yakubu Foundation, the Rep member has completed an impressive 260 water projects across the constituency.”

The group further quoted a statement signed by Sirajedeen Bala Gassol, the Senior Legislative Aide to Hon. Yakubu, who said, “Work is underway to link Yarima and Gassol with 33KVA transmission lines from Mutum Biyu, to ensure a steady supply of electricity to the areas.
“In the area of youth empowerment, 60 laptops have been distributed to young people in Bali and Gassol, while 500 women have received N30,000 each, in addition to the distribution of 250 sewing machines.
“In order to provide effective healthcare service delivery, the lawmaker has constructed new clinics in Tella town and Mararaban Gassol, while the Ummah Clinic in Bali has been renovated.
“Street solar lights have also been installed in Gassol town, Yerima, Bali, Dan’anacha, Sabon Gida, Mutum Biyu, and Mararaban Gassol, illuminating the streets and improving security.”
The statement further said Hon. Ja’afaru Yakubu Ciroma is delivering on his promises, building a brighter future for the people of Bali/Gassol.
